ORGANIC : Reinke has been president and CEO of the Transportation Intermediaries Association for nearly two years. After graduating from Wake Forest Law School, she began working at CSX as the Director of Federal Affairs. She then worked to become Vice President of Government Affairs and spent 16 years working for CSX. Baxa has been president and CEO of CSCMP for a year and a half. He has been with CSCMP for over 23 years and previously had extensive supply chain experience, from global sourcing strategy at Monsanto Co. to founder and CEO of FerniaCreek LLC.

REINKE KEY QUOTE:

Our members are driven by relationships and innovation, so anything they can do to maintain relationships between carriers and shippers, and then innovate by making these payment systems talk to each other. We can bridge the gap by having shipper, carrier and broker all speak the same financial language. Our only goal is to make the transportation experience seamless.

BAXA KEY QUOTES:

“We are looking for ways to bring efficiency and intelligence back into our supply chain. We are in a period of reset following what we have been through and are still going through. In many ways, we still have a lot of things out of sync in our supply chains, and transportation is bearing the brunt of that, because delivery is the final part.

“We don’t win with ideas on our own; we win when two minds come together and we create something no one has ever done before.
